Cowherd cafe [Gulya csárda]

The Gulya Csarda (Cowherd Restaurant) is a true marvel. I just love it. There is actually a field next to the Restaurant full of Surke Marha (grey cows)- enormous beasts with enormous horns- as you can see. Hungary has some really amazing buildings by Imre Markovecz and by Gyorgy Csete. Organic architecture reinterpeted for Hungary- or the hungry in this case (how many times have I heard that !). 1991-1996. között épült Balatonszentgyörgyön. Tervezők: Sánta Gábor és Csete György. Organikus magyar építészeti elemeket és napenergiát felhasználva készült faszerkezetes épület.
