At the foot of the hill which bears his name stand the St. Gellért Baths, one of the most eminent in stitutions of Budapest, the health resort. "Szent Gellért püspök bencés szerzetes, a velencei Morosini család sarja, 1030-tól egészen haláláig az első csanádi püspök a Magyar Királyságban. Életéről a legtöbb információt legendái őrizték meg, amelyek a szentek középkori életrajzának legtöbb hagyományos elemét tartalmazzák, így bizonytalanság övezi származását.
